Both are ‘talking therapies’ which help clients bring about effective change or enhance wellbeing.

Counselling…

…is an umbrella term covering various techniques and skills whilst working with difficult or painful issues. Alison is a fully trained and qualified integrative therapist which means she uses systemic, psychodynamic and other proven theories in her work. Her speciality is Relationship Therapy and she is skilled with many other personal problems.

Personal Coaching…

…is solution focused, doesn’t dwell on the past and uses proven cognitive techniques and strategies to bring about change, usually more quickly than with counselling. Alison is a trained and skilled coach with a focus on bringing about positive change.

Alison is a fully trained Image Consultant.  She can help build self esteem and confidence using image as a tool.
